There is a moment in every war or western movie when all the speeches are done and enough backstories told that you know who is going to die first and the grizzled leader says it’s time to go. I love that moment because in the real world tipping points last an instant. Things build and right or wrong you’re off

Black 47‘s Time To Go is dreadfully amateurish, with comic book raps. Dropkick Murphys did a version about going to a hockey game, which tells you how much gravitas it has. But in the right hands, what a powerful rallying call this song could be. It’s the song Tom Robinson should always have made. Sigh.
