SO MANY people listen to digitized music through ear buds these days, it’s a challenge for bands seeking any kind of  warm and full organic sound. Low Anthem have solved that with Smart Flesh, an album recorded in an abandoned factory on microphones set well back from the band.

It is a well thought-out album musically and lyrically, sumptiously detailed in both respects. Put your feet up at home and sink back into it or take it with you on the bus. Highly recommended for Fleet Foxey people, this should make a lot of top album of the year lists.
